I’m Dani, born and brewed in Barcelona. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of talking about myself, here’s a short bio for the lovely people at Stubborn Heart: I’ve been promoting clubs since the early ’00s, mainly skinhead/reggae nights like Boss Reggae, Double Barrel, Moonshot, and Straighten Up! – including the infamous Boss Sounds Weekend.

Soul was always part of the soundtrack, but it wasn’t until four years ago that I decided to launch a 100% soul allnighter in Barcelona: the BCN Soul Ballroom. Three years later, its little sister The Catacomb’s followed.

As a punter or DJ, I’ve travelled all over Europe doing what I love most: dancing to soul and reggae, dressed in dead people’s clothes – and occasionally spinning my humble record selection.

Honoured to play in such a beautiful city, and even more so with such lovely hosts.
